We’re excited to share that the very first gardens at both the orphanage and the school are officially planted! Raised beds have been built, the soil has been enriched with compost, and rows of vegetables — including tomatoes, peppers, beans, and leafy greens — are already beginning to sprout. Children and caregivers joined in the planting, making the process not only productive but also an opportunity to learn together.
Teachers have begun weaving the garden into their lessons, giving students hands-on science experiences and reinforcing the importance of healthy eating. Already, the excitement among the children is contagious. They can’t wait to watch their plants grow and taste the first harvest.
