First Harvest Shared Across the Community This month, we celebrated our very first harvest! Students and caregivers gathered to pick fresh vegetables from the school and orphanage gardens, and together they prepared a meal that was enjoyed by everyone. For many children, it was the first time they tasted food they had helped plant and grow themselves — and the pride on their faces said it all. Beyond the orphanage and school, families in the community have also begun sharing their first small harvests with neighbors. This spirit of generosity is at the heart of our vision. Not only are we seeing improved nutrition, but also stronger connections between families who are working side by side to grow food and hope for the future.
Community Training Workshops Launched After the initial success of the orphanage and school gardens, we expanded into the surrounding community with our first round of training workshops. Families gathered to learn practical gardening skills such as crop rotation, composting, and natural pest management. Each participant received a starter seed kit, and many have already begun planting in their own yards. The workshops have created a wonderful sense of momentum. Parents shared stories of their children coming home from school eager to help water or check on the plants. Several families who had previously depended on purchasing most of their food are now excited to grow part of their meals right outside their doors.
First Gardens Planted at the Orphanage and School We’re excited to share that the very first gardens at both the orphanage and the school are officially planted! Raised beds have been built, the soil has been enriched with compost, and rows of vegetables — including tomatoes, peppers, beans, and leafy greens — are already beginning to sprout. Children and caregivers joined in the planting, making the process not only productive but also an opportunity to learn together. Teachers have begun weaving the garden into their lessons, giving students hands-on science experiences and reinforcing the importance of healthy eating. Already, the excitement among the children is contagious. They can’t wait to watch their plants grow and taste the first harvest.
Vocational Training Scholarship Fund Opens New Doors The Vocational Training Scholarship Fund provides opportunities for older students in Indonesia to pursue specialized training and education. Many of these students aspire to careers in fields such as teaching, mechanics, hospitality, and technology—skills that will allow them to provide for themselves and give back to their communities. Through this fund, we cover tuition, materials, and essential expenses. Every gift makes higher education possible for young adults who otherwise would not have access to it. Give to the Fund

This facility will provide safe housing for children, space for after-school tutoring, and a gathering place for family outreach programs. The project represents an important step forward in building stability for children and their surrounding community. Thanks to the generosity of donors, the community center will soon serve as a hub for education, nutrition, and emotional support. Once complete, it will provide a safe haven where children can thrive and families can receive valuable resources.
New Dormitory Construction Nears Completion The orphanage in Kenya is excited to announce that construction on the new dormitory is nearly complete. The building, which will provide safe and comfortable housing for more than 40 children, represents a major step forward in creating a nurturing environment where each child can thrive. Thanks to generous donor support, the dormitory includes improved sleeping quarters, study areas, and modern sanitation facilities. Once open, the building will not only expand the orphanage’s capacity but also ensure that the children have a stable place to call home.
Supporting Families Through Reunification Care The Reunification Care Support project provides critical assistance to children as they transition from the orphanage back into family care. This program helps ensure that reunification is safe, supportive, and lasting—meeting both the child’s and the family’s needs during this important adjustment period. Your support makes it possible to provide counseling, educational resources, and essential items for families as they welcome their children home. Together, we can strengthen families and give children the opportunity to grow up surrounded by love, stability, and belonging. Give Today

College Scholarship Fund Opens New Opportunities The College Scholarship Fund is helping transform the future for students in our care by making higher education accessible. Through the fund, students are given the opportunity to pursue their dreams, gain valuable skills, and prepare for independent adulthood. Every gift to the College Scholarship Fund goes directly toward tuition, fees, and essential school expenses.
