First Harvest Shared Across the Community

This month, we celebrated our very first harvest! Students and caregivers gathered to pick fresh vegetables from the school and orphanage gardens, and together they prepared a meal that was enjoyed by everyone. For many children, it was the first time they tasted food they had helped plant and grow themselves — and the pride on their faces said it all.

Beyond the orphanage and school, families in the community have also begun sharing their first small harvests with neighbors. This spirit of generosity is at the heart of our vision. Not only are we seeing improved nutrition, but also stronger connections between families who are working side by side to grow food and hope for the future.
